Ashley S. Cevere

Ashley joins Catholic Migration Services as an Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC) Fellow, where she represents people in removal proceedings. Prior to law school, Ashley worked at the American Red Cross where she mobilized volunteers for natural disaster relief. She also volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem where she advocated for the best interest of children in the dependency system. At FSU College of Law, Ashley served as the 2021-2022 Social Justice Chair of the Black Law Student Association. She has interned with the Honorable District Judge Roy Dalton of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Ashley has also served as a student advocate in the Farmworkers and Immigrant Rights Clinic where she worked with clients from Haiti, Nicaragua, and Afghanistan filing affirmative and defensive asylum applications.
