Samantha Lyons

Samantha Lyons is a senior staff attorney with the Immigrant Tenant Advocacy Program, where she provides free legal counsel to low and moderate-income immigrant tenants in Queens and Brooklyn. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2009, and her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2016. Prior to law school, Samantha worked as the Pro Bono Coordinator of a large law firm in Washington, D.C., where she helped manage the firm’s pro bono initiatives and assisted with housing, immigration, wrongful conviction, and other legal matters. During law school, Samantha performed clinical work, providing low-income clients with legal assistance in housing, public defense, and wrongful conviction matters. Samantha speaks Spanish and is admitted to practice law in New York.
