Citizenship Workshop
Are you interested in applying to be a US citizen? Would you like to be able to vote in upcoming elections or file for family members living outside of the United States?
Catholic Migration Services is hosting an event to help people apply for citizenship on October 19 at St. James Cathedral in downtown Brooklyn from 10am to 2pm. In order to attend, you must call 646-597-8797 anytime between September 9 and October 11. A CMS employee will take some basic information to determine whether you are eligible to apply.
In order to be eligible, you must:
– Be at least 18 years old
– Have been in the United States for at least 5 years (3 years if you are married to a US citizen)
