John Jozkowski

John Jozkowski is a Senior Staff Attorney with the Pro Se Plus Program, where his work focuses on assisting immigrants who do not have legal representation. Before joining Catholic Migration Services, John worked at the New York City Asylum Application Help Center as a Supervising Attorney and at Safe Horizon’s Immigration Law Project, where he was an Immigrant Justice Corps fellow and later a Staff Attorney.

John received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he participated in the Safe Harbor Clinic and the Pro Bono Scholars program. He has a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a B.A. in Spanish Language from Binghamton University (SUNY). Before law school, John worked in conservation biology as a research technician on projects in Nevada, California, and Florida and taught English abroad. John is bilingual in English and Spanish and is admitted to practice law in New York.
