On Sunday October 20th CMS participated in St. Michael’s Church annual health and social services fair in Flushing, Queens. Over 50 people attended the fair where they were provided with information about the services which Catholic Migration Services provides to the community and the parish.
Virginia Thomas one of the outreach assistants at CMS and Xiomara Mena a member of the parish informed parishioners on their basic housing and labor rights and encouraged them to contact the CMS for more information about immigration services.
