Our annual Shining Star Award Dinners will take place on Friday, October 4th and Friday, October 11, 2013.

This year, both dinners will be held at Gargiulo’s Restaurant, located in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn at 2911 West 15th Street, between Mermaid Avenue and Surf Avenue. The event will begin with cocktails at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner at 7:30pm.
October 4th Honorees:
Arabic Speaking, Argentinian, Brazilian, Colombian, Cuban, Dominican Republic, Ecuadorian, Ghanaian, Guatemalan, Haitian, Irish, Mexican, Nigerian, Puerto Rican, VBCC, Vietnamese, West Indian
October 11th Honorees:
Chinese (Brooklyn), Chinese (Queens), Czech/Slovak, Filipino, Indian Latin Rite, Indonesian, Lithuanian, Italian, Korean, Pakistani, Polish
In addition to honoring those who contribute to the diverse immigrant communities of our Diocese, the event also serves as a fundraiser to support the legal and pastoral efforts of Catholic Migration Services.
